We had a fairly low key mother's day a few weeks ago. It's hard to do a lot in the way of gifts when your parents live out in the middle of nowhere. But we still had a little gathering, and I made sure to get a picture of me and my mom.
We went for practicality. Wes and Sara gave her the multi-purpose headband, and Ben came up with the idea of a day pack with a Camelback to carry water.

And hooray for a good picture of Ben! I never seem to get a good one of him unless it's a group photo, so this picture is a keeper for sure.
And yay for moms! I honestly don't know what I would do without mine, and I don't even want to think about her leaving at the end of the month. It will be a sad day indeed. But let's not talk about it.
