one of the best days of my life, ever.

was last friday when I found prada pants at goodwill. PRADA. PANTS. did you get that? PRADA. for $3.79. I thought I died and went to heaven. granted they're dry clean only but does it look like I care?! they are worth every penny because oh. em. gee. I'm in love. 

oh. and they're red. which makes them better if that's even possible.

clothes swap.

I went through my clothes the other day and got a huge tupperware full of things to get rid of. and since jordan is always talking about raiding my closet I let her, leanne, and michelle go at it. and they all found something! michelle even brought out some of her clothes and I got the cutest dress that I cannot wait to wear. so it basically turned into a mini clothes swap.

do you ever have those outfits that you just love? the ones that you never want to change out of because they are just so comfortable and make you feel so confident? and even if no one else does, you think you look pretty good. well, that happened to me today. and I have to say this outfit it due largely in part to my friend who lent me her scarf because last night, while digging through my clothes at 11 PM, I realized that I own a grand total of two scarves. TWO. and out of those two I only ever really wear one. I feel like this is a crime. anyway, I figure I need to change out of this outfit at some point because if I don't that would be just gross. and I'm guessing my friend is probably going to want her scarf back before summer. soooo, I decided to take a picture. I've heard that they last longer.

in other total random news, I picked up my books last week. and this one? this one makes me feel smart just holding it. so thank you professor, for unknowingly boosting my sense of self-esteem.
