and so it's still Christmas.
Just because we took down our tree, it doesn't mean Christmas is entirely dead at our house. Eva and I decided to re-purpose the lights into wall art (that somehow came out looking like a dinosaur/camel?) and banister decor.

it was time.
With the arrival of February, the roommates and I realized that it was probably (finally) time to take down the Christmas tree. And since we figured all of the tree disposal places were long gone, we did the one thing I was advised not to do: dump it in our side yard.
(note the green balloons hanging in the window? yeah, they're from Michelle's birthday. IN OCTOBER. Clearly we're good at taking down decorations.)
goodbye, dear tree. you were lovely.
