somehow my shoes end up scattered all over the room by the end of the week so this is me piling them back up to put them in their boxes. and this is not all of my shoes by far. I have a tiny shoe addiction, for those of you you didn't know. well, now you do.

a photo a day: day seventeen: time
time. the one thing we never seem to have enough of and the one thing that goes by so quickly. it's a funny thing, time. when I was little an hour seemed like eternity and ten more minutes before going to bed was monumental. now an hour is gone in a blink of an eye and ten more minutes is nothing. funny how things change isn't it?
{p.s. and in case you can't tell, the time part is the ginormous clock that is on top of the science building. it never seems to be exactly right, that clock}

a photo a day: day fifteen: phone
way back when, when I was in high school, I would beg my parents for a cell phone. I tried every argument I could think of to no avail. and then, one summer day after my senior year, my mom caved. I got a phone for my roadtrip to see my best friend. it was a prepaid/pay as you go phone but still. it was a cell phone. it's come a ways since then and I no longer call my parents begging them to put money on my phone. but the moral of the story? go on a roadtrip and your parents will buy you a phone. now I just ask myself, why didn't I think of it sooner???

a photo a day: day eleven: makes you happy
salad. and more specifically zaxby's salad (although chick-fil-a's is still up there for number one. but I'm momentarily boycotting them since they ran out of all of their salads last week. how does that even happen?! I digress) I love salad I really do. call me a girl. I don't care. there is nothing like a good salad.
p.s. other things that make me happy at the moment: I got to volunteer with some great friends at habitat for humanity (and lamely left my camera- that didn't make me happy). it's cold outside and getting colder. I don't work tomorrow. I'm going to church. I'm to see the vow with two of my best friends.
if this post doesn't make me sound like a total girl I don't know what does. it's ok. I embrace it.
